robertDetective Michael A. Parker was bitten by Robert W. Lindsay in Phoenix, Arizona back in 2007 when he was arresting him for failing to register as a sex offender. Lindsay had previously been convicted of a sex crime in 2006 for having sexual contact with a minor and is required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. It is not known whether or not Detective Parker was infected, but at the time of the arrest Parker told the news media that his primary concerns had more to do with flu like side effects from anti-viral therapy than the virus itself.

Robert Lindsay and his partner Jack M. Marguardt had been living under false identities at an apartment in the 3500 block of Sheffield Manor Terrace. Inside the apartment police discovered a methamphetamine lab that they described as one of the most sophisticated meth labs ever found in the county.
