Some poor man sought justice through the courts a few years ago when his girlfriend gave him Genital Herpes, knew she had it, and did not tell him about it. The case made the news (see source link) after she was arrested for allegedly voluntarily giving someone a sexually transmitted disease (STD). The media did not follow the case and the disposition is listed as Adjudication Withheld.
According to reliable looking information on the internet https://www.floridabar.org/the-florida-bar-journal/withhold-of-adjudication-what-everyone-needs-to-know/ a judge has the authority to withhold adjudication if the defendant completes some form of probation. From that information it appears that Ms. Keandra Vann must have completed some sort of probationary diversion to get the adjudication withheld.
According to public records, Keandra Vann is now known as Keandra Denise King. A picture of her could not be located, so here is a screenshot of the public record from her Herpes transmission case.
