David Gutierrez, HIV and AIDS in Wichita, Kansas
SGT. David Gutierrez is facing 11 counts of aggravated assault at his court marshal for failing to tell his sexual partners of his HIV status. Gutierrez was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas at the time of his arrest where he also violated military law for disobeying a direct order from him commanding officer to inform his partners of his HIV status before having sex with them and to always use a condom.
Gutierrez has been reported as beginning his well documented unprotected non-disclosure shenanigans in 2007 around the time he was diagnosed as HIV positive at an Aviano Air Base in Italy.
