Johnson Aziga, HIV and AIDS in Hamilton, Ontario
Johnson Aziga became the first Canadian convicted of first degree murder on April 4, 2009, crime that carries a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. Aziga is known to have infected at least seven women since he was diagnosed as HIV positive in 1996. Two of those women died from AIDS related cancers one of whom recorded a death bed confession for police in which she said that Aziga never told her he was HIV positive and that she would have refused to have sex with him if she knew about it. #johnsonaziga #hivandaids #hamilton #ontario
