Andre Chad Parenzee was convicted of knowingly endangering the lives of three Australian women back in 2006 by having unprotected sex with them without disclosing his HIV status. One of his victims got infected.
In 2008 his appeal was struck down by the Australian Supreme Court. The court concluded that Parenzee’s claim that you cannot get HIV from unprotected sex to be unfounded and that his belief in using the withdrawal method would avoid transmission was not an excuse for failing to disclose his status. #andrechadparenzee #hivandaids #adelaide #southaustralia
